  19. Hi there.  Anyone out there with one of the new beta flyers know of how
  20. you can format a regular (not one of the 6 newtek recommended) SCSI
  21. hard drives to work in video mode?  I know it will stutter and not work
  22. properly for video, but my flyer drives have not arrived yet and i
  23. wanted to try it out.  I have two spare SCSI drives to use (one for
  24. video and one for audio). When i try to format one for video, it
  25. shows on the CLI that it's not one of the recommended drives and
  26. promptly formats as audio only.  I had been told when i called newtek
  27. last January that i could use regular drives for lightwave animations.
  28. I've tried calling the tech support, but i'm running up a long
  29. distance phone bill only to find that all the tech support people are
  30. busy on another line.

  32. Anyone have any suggestions?

  34. I also noticed that there is a file called PATCH 3000.  There's no
  35. explanation of what this does.  Does it patch something so that it runs
  36. properly on an Amiga 3000 system?  I am running it on a 3000 but don't
  37. see any difference if i run the patch or not.
